The Second Annual Bluegrass, Barbecue & Brew Festival at Patrick Henry's Red Hill

 

...embracing the flavors and sounds of Southern Virginia at the home of Virginia' Passionate Patriot & Fiery Fiddler!

 

 

This festival combines a LOVE of history with a LOVE of music, barbecue and Virginia craft beer! The Bluegrass, Barbecue & Brew Festival brings together the lifestyle of yester year with modern leisurely activities. Our intention is for the people to fall in love with Southern Virginia and all of the history, culture, food, beer and music it has to offer.

 

Our Second Annual Bluegrass, Barbecue & Brew Festival will feature three bluegrass bands: The Bluegrass Brothers from Salem, Virginia, the Darrell Webb Band from Knoxville, Tennessee, and Tara Mills & Strings Attached from Charlottesville, Virginia. We will have delicious local barbecue from Drug Store Grill of Brookneal, and Charlotte County Lions. We will also have another barbecue option, as well as a vegetarian option from TBones Deli of Partlow. We will also have arts and craft vendors from Virginia and New Jersey. The three local breweries that will be featured during the festival are Devil's Backbone Brewing Company of Nelson County, Starr Hill Brewing Company of Charlottesville, and Legend Brewing Company of Richmond. We are also having a local cidery the Bold Rock Cidery of Nelson County!
